Couples Therapist and Director Explains Who The Couples Workshop in April is For

Hi there, it's Stephanie Cook, the director at Couple’s Counseling ATL, and I'm super excited to share some fantastic news with you! We're hosting another awesome workshop in April, focusing on the "7 Principles for Making a Marriage Work."

I've been leading these workshops for almost 8 years now, and it's been an incredible journey. We've helped hundreds of couples navigate through the ups and downs of relationships, and we have seen over a thousand couples in my practice. Couples love doing these workshops because they're not only fun, but they're also a great way to invest in your relationship.

Now, I know that going to a workshop might not sound as exciting as a day at the spa or going out to eat, but trust me, it's something different and special. It's a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and focus on strengthening your bond with your partner.

Our goal in the workshop is to help you understand what science and research say about making relationships last and keeping them happy. Whether you're getting married soon or you've been married for a while and want to reconnect, this workshop is for you. We've seen couples from all walks of life and stages of their relationships, and we're here to support you every step of the way.

One thing we've learned from our research is that the initial passion in a relationship eventually wears off. But don't worry, that doesn't mean your relationship is doomed! With dedication and effort, you can keep the love alive and build a stronger connection with your partner.

During the workshop, we'll dive deep into the existential, from building vision, meaning and purpose for your relationship, as well as learning very quick to implement, practical communication and conflict strategies. You’ll well away with more than enough to create and maintain a happy and healthy relationship, even when life throws you curveballs, whether it’s illness, parenting challenges, or the inevitable conflicts arise. We'll also discuss the importance of communication, friendship, and intimacy in keeping the spark alive.

So whether you've been struggling for a while or you're just starting out in your relationship, I invite you to join us for our next workshop in April. It's going to be a fun and enlightening experience that will leave you with a deeper understanding of how to apply scientific principles to your relationship.

I hope to see you there!
